Who is Mr. Mikey?

I am just an old man floating through the Metaverse. Well, not actually floating, at least not yet! I spend most of my time digitally on TikTok and Instagram. I know, pretty amazing for an old GenX guy.

I have had a passion for photography since before there were digital cameras and over the last few years taken to painting. I am not sure why I never started with that sooner. I can remember visiting my Grandmother and seeing her paintings and drawings. They always fasinated me. I have been told that I have her eye for art.

I work with acrylic and watercolor paints, alcohol inks, photography, and digital art. I am always looking for something new to try.

His artistic journey is a vibrant tapestry woven from photography, the bold strokes of acrylics, the swirling unpredictability of alcohol inks, and the limitless possibilities of digital art. 

For Mikey, the act of creating is its own reward, a joyful exploration rather than a search for a signature.

“I don’t expect anyone to remember my name,” Mikey muses, “but if my art can spark a feeling or linger in someone’s memory long after I’m gone, that’s more than enough for me.”
